About me

Artistic career

  • First encounter with patchwork work in 1993 at a farmers market in the Sauerland.
  • Initially, I worked autodidactically with the help of patchwork magazines.
  • By 2006, quilts were being created using traditional patchwork techniques. At the same time, I was learning hand printing using wooden models. I was creating my own fabrics.
  • Since 2006, focus on art quilt and mixed media techniques.
  • This was followed by courses with national and international textile artists to learn different embroidery and dyeing techniques.
