Artistic career
- First encounter with patchwork in 1993 at a farmers' market in the Sauerland region.
- Initially, I worked autodidactically using patchwork magazines.
- Until 2006, quilts were created using traditional patchwork techniques. At the same time, hand-printing with wooden blocks was learned. Self-designed fabrics were created.
- From 2006 onwards, focus on art quilting and mixed media techniques.
- This was followed by courses with national and international textile artists to learn different embroidery and dyeing techniques.
